A Tribute to Jean Shrimpton. Iconic British fashion model and David Bailey's muse.Their artistic talented collaboration created the most emblematic images for the fashion scene in the Swinging 60s London.
Within the vibrant landscape of swinging London, “Blow Up” revolutionized the portrayal of fashion photography on screen, offering audiences a glimpse into the inner workings of the industry during a transformative period. As Thomas immerses himself in the hedonistic world of fashion and glamour, Antonioni explores the duality of the photographer as both a detached observer and an active participant in shaping reality.
Through Antonioni’s lens, fashion photography transcends its commercial roots to become a form of artistic expression, imbued with layers of meaning and metaphor. This portrayal not only elevated the perception of fashion photography as a legitimate art form but also inspired a new generation of photographers to approach their craft with a heightened sense of ambition and creative vision
Homage to Bolivia’s Brave Women.
Against the ticking clock of climate change, Bolivia’s Cholitas Escaladoras aim for Everest.
Veiling their fear that climbing Cholitas would threaten their work, male climbers invented myriad claims to stop them. They suggested that climbing as women in polleras – traditional skirts – would be dangerous.
They’re even claimed that a woman’s presence that high on a mountain would spontaneously melt the glaciers or trigger avalanches, endangering others on the mountain.
We are indigenous women, Aymaras, we come from province carrying our culture and tradition aymara, the cholitas climbers come climbing as 8 mountains more than 6,000 meters in Bolivia and 4 mountains in Chile Huallatiri 6.071 meters , Pomarape 6.248 meters , Llullaillacu 6.739 meters, Salty Eyes 6.891 meters, and finally we reached the highest mountain in South America, Argentina Aconcagua 6.961 msnm and finally we have the biggest project, reach the top of Everest and touch the roof of the world.
